Maison Smith Shipping Policies
All orders are processed within 1 to 2 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after receiving your order confirmation email. You will receive another notification when your order has shipped.
Important information regarding large furniture orders: Please know that larger items, such as furniture, artwork, and many of our sizable 17th-19th century pieces, require custom shipping quotes dependent on weight, size, and destination. Because of the delicacy and weight of some of our antiques, we utilize a third-party delivery service experienced in carefully and efficiently transporting these items.
When you check out on our website, items that fall under this category will be clearly marked with "Special Shipping Information". The total checkout price does not include a shipping fee, so please contact us before purchasing large furniture to ensure that you are given an accurate quote. Pieces that are marked with "Special Shipping Information" and bought online cannot be shipped until the delivery price is agreed upon and paid.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
We currently only ship within the United States. Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
After placing your order and selecting a local pickup point at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready to pick up within 2 hours.
In-store pickup is available at both our Santa Fe and Healdsburg locations ( Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Santa Fe, and Wednesday to Monday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in Healdsburg). Please bring your digital confirmation of purchase (sent to your inbox) when arriving to collect your items.
Please note that large furniture and some of our sizable 17th-19th century pieces can be picked up locally if you have means of transportation. However, to ensure that the items make it safely from our store to your truck, we will need a 7-day notice to bring on our skilled movers.
We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions.
We currently do not offer international shipping outside of the US.
How do I check the status of my order?
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.
If you haven’t received your order within seven days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges
We accept returns up to 30 days after delivery, if the item is unused and in its original condition, and we will refund the full order amount minus the shipping costs for the return.
In the event that your order arrives damaged in any way, please email us as soon as possible at email@example.com with your order number and a photo of the item’s condition. We address these on a case-by-case basis but will try our best to work towards a satisfactory solution.
